  16. The  'AUTO  -  USED CAR LOAN' application  program  requires  the
  17. follow system environment in order to operate.

  19.                  MS-DOS 2.0 (or greater)
  20.                  512k free memory
  21.                  Printer (any dot matrix)
  22.                  Floppy or hard disk
  23.                  Monochrome (or color) monitor
  24.  
  25. The diskette that your copy of 'AUTO LOAN' was distributed to you
  26. on  should  not be used for calculating  your  loan  amortization
  27. schedules.   First make a backup copy of this  distribution  disk
  28. and then install 'AUTO LOAN' on either your hard disk, or  floppy
  29. disk,  system.   If  you  are using a  hard  disk  system  it  is
  30. suggested  that you create a sub-directory that will contain  the
  31. program 'AUTO.EXE'.

  34.                  NOTICE - TO ALL USERS OF 'AUTO'
  35.  
  36. Micro  Data  Assist  is considering the  development  of  a  full
  37. feature 'LOAN and ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE' system. This system  would
  38. contain all of the features of 'AUTO' plus the added features of:
  39.  
  40. 1. ability to print a loan payment booklet consisting of 3" x  5"
  41. cards that the purchaser can submit with payment,
  42. 2.  a  full feature Accounts Receivable system in which  you  can
  43. setup  the  purchaser and their payment schedule,  post  payments
  44. received,  send  statements, print an  AGED  ACCOUNTS  RECEIVABLE
  45. listing, and track late payments.

  47. If  you are interested in a system such as this please  become  a
  48. registered  user of 'AUTO'.  I can only afford to develop such  a
  49. full feature system if I know that there is a demand for it.

  54. INSTALLING 'AUTO LOAN' ON SYSTEMS WITH A HARD DISK DRIVE:

  56. The  following  DOS command will create  a  sub-directory  called
  57. 'AUTO':
  58.        C>MKDIR AUTO
  59.  
  60. Once  you  have created the sub-directory, select  the  new  sub-
  61. directory by entering:
  62.                  C>CHDIR AUTO
  63.  
  64. Insert the  'AUTO LOAN'  distribution disk in drive  'A'.
  65.  
  66. Copy  the  content of the distribution disk into  this  new  sub-
  67. directory by entering:
  68.  
  69.                  COPY A:*.* <return>

  72. INSTALLING 'AUTO' ON A FLOPPY DISK
  73. ---------------------------------
  74. In  order to run  'AUTO'  on  a  floppy disk system you you  need
  75. two  disk drives. Drive 'A' to contain the  distributed  copy  of
  76. your  'AUTO' program, and drive 'B' to hold your working copy  of
  77. your 'AUTO' program.

  79. Format  the  disk  to  contain your working  copy  by  using  the
  80. following DOS format command:
  81.  
  82.                     FORMAT B:/S
  83.  
  84. Insert the 'AUTO' distribution disk in drive  'A'.
  85.  
  86. Copy the contents from your distribution to the new disk in drive
  87. 'B' by entering the following command:
  88.  
  89.                     COPY A:*.* B: <return>

  91. You now have a working copy of 'AUTO'.

  127. State of Texas and shall inure to the benefit of  MICRO
  128. DATA  ASSIST and any successors, administrators,  heirs
  129. and assigns. Any action or proceeding brought by either
  130. party  against the other arising out of or  related  to
  131. this  agreement  shall be brought only in  a  STATE  or
  132. FEDERAL  COURT  of competent  jurisdiction  located  in
  133. Collin County, Texas. The parties hereby consent to  in
  134. personam jurisdiction of said courts.

  137. title to the software or any copyright rights. You  may
  138. not   sub-license,   rent,   lease,   convey,   modify,
  139. translate,  convert  to another  programming  language,
  140. decompile,  or dissemble the software for any  purpose.
  141. You  may  make as many copies of this software  as  you
  142. need for back up purposes. You may use this software on
  143. more than one computer, provided there is no chance  it
  144. will be used simultaneously on more than one  computer.
